Inspired by objects and experiences in her daily life, Tasmanian based artist Mari taught herself how to draw, and has been specialising in pencil and oil works for over 15 years.
Describing her style as ‘a window realism’, her works are instinctive and layered, with an intuitive use of colour. Citing nature as her primary inspiration, Mari seeks to tell a story and feature emotion and character in every piece.
